Phase II Trial of Eflornithine (DFMO) and Etoposide for Relapsed/Refractory Neuroblastoma

This study is testing a medication called eflornithine combined with another drug called etoposide for children and young adults with a type of nerve cell cancer called neuroblastoma. Researchers want to see how well this combination works when previous treatments have stopped working or the cancer has returned.

This trial is for patients aged 30 or younger who have been diagnosed with neuroblastoma that has come back or resisted treatment, and who have already finished initial intensive chemotherapy. There are some rules regarding past medications and body size to make sure the trial is safe for you.

Participants will receive a combination of the study medications, though details can vary depending on your specific treatment plan. Your care team will monitor your health and recovery closely throughout the process.

This study takes place at multiple medical centers in locations such as Alabama, Arkansas, and California. The study is currently active, but it is not looking for new participants at this time.
