You may be eligible if you are at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer that has a specific genetic change called an EGFR mutation. You must be early in your treatment journey—either just starting or having recently begun osimertinib—and have not previously received chemotherapy for your cancer.
Participants will be randomly assigned to receive either osimertinib alone or a combination of osimertinib and chemotherapy. You will undergo regular medical check-ups and scans so doctors can monitor how your body and your cancer are responding to the chosen treatment.
The study is currently recruiting patients at medical centers in Sacramento and San Francisco, California, as well as Tampa, Florida. Please speak with your oncologist to see if one of these locations is an option for you.
