Phase II Study to Examine Precision Radiation in Patients With Pathogenic Mutations in ATM

What is this study?

This study is testing if a lower dose of radiation therapy can successfully treat cancer that has spread to other parts of the body. Researchers want to find out if using less radiation can still help manage symptoms for people who have a specific genetic change called an ATM mutation.

Who can participate?

You may be able to join if you are 18 or older, have cancer that has spread and needs radiation for symptom relief, and have a confirmed ATM genetic change. You must also be able to perform your normal daily activities and not have received prior conflicting radiation to the same area.

What will happen?

Participants will receive a carefully measured, reduced dose of radiation therapy aimed at shrinking tumors and relieving pain or other symptoms. Doctors will monitor you closely to see how well the lower dose works while protecting your healthy tissue.

Where and when?

This study is currently recruiting participants at three locations in New Jersey, United States: Basking Ridge, Middletown, and Montvale.
