A Phase 2 Trial of All-Trans Retinoic Acid (ATRA) Plus PD-1 Inhibition in Recurrent IDH-Mutant Glioma
This study is testing a new combination of two drugs, Retifanlimab and ATRA, to see if they can help the immune system fight recurrent IDH-mutant glioma (a type of brain tumor). The goal is to safely stop or slow down tumor growth by helping your body's natural defenses recognize and attack cancer cells.
This study is for adults whose astrocytoma or oligodendroglioma has returned or grown after previous treatments like chemotherapy. You must have a specific genetic change in your tumor called an IDH mutation to be eligible for this trial.
Participants will receive a combination of an immunotherapy drug and a Vitamin A-based medication. Throughout the study, doctors will closely monitor your health and use MRI scans to check how the tumor is responding to the treatment.
