A Phase II Study of Tucatinib and Ado-trastuzumab Emtansine (T-DM1) in Patients With HER2-positive Metastatic Solid Tumors and Metastases to Brain (TUCATEMEB)

This study is testing two targeted cancer medications, tucatinib and T-DM1, to see how well they control solid tumors that have spread to the brain. Researchers hope this combination will provide a new and effective treatment option for patients facing this challenging diagnosis.

You may be able to join if you have a solid tumor cancer that tests positive for the HER2 protein and has spread to the brain. The brain tumors must be of a certain size and cannot require emergency local treatment.

Participants will receive two targeted cancer medications designed to destroy cancer cells and block the signals that help them grow. Your health care team will closely monitor you and your tumors throughout the study.
