This study is testing a new drug called WP1066 alongside radiation therapy to treat newly diagnosed glioblastoma, an aggressive type of brain tumor. Researchers hope that by blocking a protein that helps cancer cells survive, they can make radiation more effective and help patients live longer.
You may be eligible if you have been newly diagnosed with a specific type of glioblastoma that does not have the IDH mutation and has an unmethylated MGMT gene. You must also have recently undergone surgery to remove the majority of the tumor.
Participants will receive the experimental drug WP1066 combined with standard radiation therapy. During the study, you will undergo regular MRI scans and provide blood or tissue samples so doctors can closely monitor your health and how the treatment is working.
