An Open-Label, Phase 2b, Global Multicenter Cohort Trial to Assess the Safety and Efficacy of Zipalertinib in Patients With Locally Advanced or Metastatic Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer With Exon 20 Insertion and Uncommon/Single or Compound Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor Mutations.
This study is testing a new medication called zipalertinib to see if it can safely and effectively treat a specific type of lung cancer. It is designed for patients whose cancer has a rare genetic change known as an EGFR exon 20 insertion mutation that has continued to grow after other treatments.
You may be able to join if you are at least 18 years old and have been diagnosed with advanced or metastatic non-small cell lung cancer that has this specific genetic mutation. Participants must have already tried other targeted treatments that either stopped working or caused too many side effects.
Participants will receive the study drug zipalertinib to see how well it fights cancer cells. You will also take special medication cocktails that help researchers understand how your body processes and moves the study drug through your system.
