Window of Opportunity Assessment of [Fam-]Trastuzumab DERuxtecan-nxki (T-DXd) Brain Tumor Penetration and Efficacy (WOnDER-BT)
This study is testing a targeted medicine called T-DXd to see how well it reaches brain tumors. Researchers want to learn if this drug can effectively treat cancers that have spread to the brain and carry a specific protein called HER2.
This study is for adults aged 18 and older who have a brain tumor that carries the HER2 protein and are already scheduled for brain surgery. You must be healthy enough to undergo surgery and an MRI scan.
Participants will receive the study drug before their scheduled surgery. After the surgery, the medical team will analyze the tumor tissue to see how much of the medicine successfully entered the cancer cells.
