A Randomized, Open-label, Phase 3 Study of MK-2870 vs Chemotherapy (Docetaxel or Pemetrexed) in Previously Treated Advanced or Metastatic Nonsquamous Non-small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC) With EGFR Mutations or Other Genomic Alterations
This study is comparing a new medicine called sacituzumab tirumotecan against standard chemotherapy to see which works better for certain types of advanced lung cancer. It focuses on patients whose cancer has specific genetic markers and has continued to grow after previous treatments.
You may be eligible if you have advanced non-squamous non-small cell lung cancer with specific genetic changes and have already tried other targeted therapies or chemotherapy. Participants must have measurable tumors and be able to provide a tissue sample for analysis.
Participants are randomly assigned to receive either the new study drug or one of the standard chemotherapy options. Doctors will closely monitor your progress using regular medical imaging to see how your cancer responds to the assigned treatment.
This study is currently active but not recruiting new participants. Research sites are located in Los Angeles, California, and Jacksonville and Orange City, Florida.
