A Phase 3 Randomized Double-blind Study of Adjuvant Pembrolizumab With or Without V940 in Participants With Resectable Stage II to IIIB (N2) NSCLC Not Achieving pCR After Receiving Neoadjuvant Pembrolizumab With Platinum-based Doublet Chemotherapy (INTerpath-009)

This study is testing a specialized experimental treatment combined with an immunotherapy drug to see if it helps keep lung cancer from coming back after surgery. Researchers want to help patients stay cancer-free longer when previous treatments before surgery did not completely eliminate the cancer.

You might be able to join if you have a common type of lung cancer called non-small cell lung cancer that could be surgically removed, but still had some active cancer cells left in the removed tissue after your initial treatment. Your tumor must also not have certain gene mutations like EGFR or ALK.

During the study, you will receive either the new experimental treatment plus an immunotherapy drug, or a placebo which looks like the treatment but has no active medicine. Your doctors will closely monitor your health and how your body responds to the care provided.

This study is currently recruiting participants and is taking place at multiple locations, including sites in Gilbert and Tucson, Arizona, as well as Fullerton, California.
