Evaluation of Digoxin for Relapsed Non-WNT, Non-SHH Medulloblastoma
This study is testing if a medication called digoxin can help treat a specific type of recurring brain cancer called medulloblastoma. Because this cancer has come back after previous treatments, doctors are looking for new ways to fight it in children and young adults.
This trial is for patients aged 1 to 29 who have been diagnosed with a specific subtype of medulloblastoma that has returned after chemotherapy and radiation. You must have finished recent treatments and be stable enough to participate.
Participants will receive digoxin, a medication typically used for heart conditions, to see how it affects their tumor. The medical team will closely monitor your health and how your body responds to the treatment throughout the study.
The study is currently recruiting patients at locations in Birmingham, Alabama; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Hartford, Connecticut. Please check with your doctor to see if one of these locations is right for you.
