This study is testing a new way to treat aggressive brain tumors that have returned or continued to grow. Researchers are using a personalized immune therapy called CAR T-cell treatment, which involves training your own immune cells to better recognize and attack cancer cells in the brain.
This trial is for adults 18 or older who have specific types of recurrent or progressive high-grade brain tumors. Participants need to be generally well enough to care for themselves and must not be taking certain medications like Avastin.
You will have your own immune cells collected and modified in a lab before they are returned to you through a small tube placed in your brain. Throughout the study, you will have regular check-ups, including blood draws, scans like MRIs or PET scans, and heart monitoring to ensure your safety.
