A Phase 2, Randomized, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled Study of V940 in Combination With Pembrolizumab and Chemotherapy as First-Line Treatment for Participants With Metastatic Squamous NSCLC (INTerpath-013)

This study is testing an experimental cancer vaccine called V940 to see if it helps the immune system better fight a specific type of lung cancer. Researchers want to know if adding this vaccine to standard treatments can help patients live longer and keep their cancer from growing.

This study is for adults diagnosed with Stage IV squamous non-small cell lung cancer who have not yet received drug-based treatment for this stage of the disease. You will need to provide a sample of your tumor tissue and be in a condition where you have recovered from any previous cancer-related treatments.

You will receive either the study vaccine or a placebo, combined with standard chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Doctors will monitor you closely through regular checkups and imaging scans to track how your cancer responds to the treatment.

The study is currently recruiting patients at locations in Tampa, Florida; Ann Arbor, Michigan; and St. Louis, Missouri. Being part of this trial means playing an active role in testing a new, personalized approach to cancer care.
