Phase 1/2a, Double-blind, Placebo-controlled, Single and Multiple Dose-escalating Study to Evaluate the Safety, Tolerability, Pharmacokinetics, and Pharmacodynamic Effects of ARO-DIMERPA in Adult Subjects With Mixed Hyperlipidemia

This study is testing a new medication called ARO-DIMERPA to see if it safely helps lower unhealthy levels of fats, like cholesterol and triglycerides, in the blood. Researchers hope this experimental treatment will provide an effective new way to manage mixed hyperlipidemia, a condition where blood fats are too high.

Adults with mixed hyperlipidemia who are willing to follow dietary guidance may be eligible. Participants must meet specific blood fat levels and be able to commit to using reliable birth control throughout the study.

You will receive either the study medication or a placebo, which is a substance with no active medicine used for comparison. The study team will closely monitor your health and blood work to see how your body reacts to the treatment.

The study is currently recruiting volunteers at several locations across Australia, including centers in New South Wales, Queensland, and Victoria.
