A Phase II Open Label Basket Trial Study Using Eflornithine (DFMO) for Ewing Sarcoma and Osteosarcoma

This study is testing a medication called eflornithine alongside other treatments to see if it can help patients with Ewing sarcoma or osteosarcoma. Researchers hope this combination will help improve survival and give patients more treatment options since standard care has not changed much recently.

This study is for patients aged 50 and younger who have been diagnosed with Ewing sarcoma that has either returned after previous treatment or did not respond well to standard therapies. There are certain health requirements and exclusion criteria, such as not having active brain or spinal cord disease.

Participants will receive eflornithine, sometimes combined with standard chemotherapy drugs, to target and slow down the growth of cancer cells. Your care team will monitor your health closely throughout the process to ensure you are tolerating the treatments well.
